In partnership with the Media Lab’s Public Library Innovation Exchange (PLIX), we have developed Space Explorations — a series of creative learning workshops for public library patrons to learn about space environments, and how they can be characterized with small spacecrafts.
The first iteration of Space Explorations was co-designed with teams from Charlotte Mecklenburg Library (North Carolina) and Cambridge Public Library (Massachusetts). Resources—including curriculum materials and activities—from the pilot launch can be found on this section of PubPub. Moving forward, we’ll be developing kits based on our initial curriculum series for easy deployment in libraries across the world.
